Purpose Statement:

Guided by the spirit of 'Light a Lamp, Illuminate a Life,' our center is dedicated to the principle of 'Putting Charity First, Supporting the Vulnerable and Nurturing Excellence.' We implement programs such as case management, academic guidance, life care, philanthropic counseling, and philanthropic lectures to assist our university's philanthropic students in overcoming academic and life challenges.

Work Goals:

To assist in enhancing students' learning effectiveness and provide them with appropriate guidance and support opportunities, our center is dedicated to ensuring that philanthropic students at our university can achieve the goals of academic excellence, life priorities, and employment priorities through comprehensive counseling at our center. We aim to enable philanthropic students to fully focus on their studies without the burden of life concerns.

Concrete Steps:

1.Academic Excellence:In line with our university's dual mentorship system, our center pays close attention to the academic performance of philanthropic students, monitors their progress in coursework, and offers advisory services such as course selection recommendations, credit arrangements, and departmental transfers for required and elective courses each semester.

2.Leading in Life:In the aspect of life care, our center collaborates with the Counseling and Consultation Center to provide counseling and support to philanthropic students on matters related to their thoughts, emotions, behavior, social interactions, leisure activities, marriage, and health. Through participation in service learning opportunities organized by our center, we take care of the philanthropic students involved in on-campus service learning activities, offering them a monthly scholarship of five thousand yuan to ensure they can pursue their studies with peace of mind.

3.Job Placement:Our center collaborates with the Office of Academic Affairs to support the overall planning and enhancement of higher education. We provide advisory services for obtaining financial certifications and offer TOEIC certification guidance courses.
